The light’s off and no one’s home I kinda feel like I’m alone now And it feels so good For so long, I've been living With Mr Not-So-Right I guess I'm best on my own Let me guess? Oh, you miss me But not in that way, as a friend? As a friend. You left me in the shadows You left me on the stairs Go and be a brown nose Yeah, go and tell your friends You point the blame at me Act like, I'm the crazy I'm the crazy one [Repeat chorus] Say it ain't so, but I say it is, so? But you don’t even know what I’m talking about Do you now? Listen to me, for once in your life You spite me, you wind me up But it's not my fault Let me guess? You still miss me But not in that way, as a friend? As a friend. You left me in the shadows You left me on the stairs Go and be a brown nose Yeah, go and tell your friends You point the blame at me Act like, I'm the crazy I'm the crazy one [Repeat chorus x 3] I'm the crazy one I'm the crazy one

Permission 04:59
If you saw me now, would you say out loud The words that couldn’t come from your mouth? But I wrote them in a letter You never bothered to read it though Why did I ever bother, when you hurt me the most? Because I don’t recall Ever asking for your permission I was in control all the time, wasn't i? Oh no I don’t recall Ever asking for your permission Stuck in a black hole, I'm using remote control No I don’t recall ever asking for your permission Your permission, yeah Permission I was your puppet on a string I only ever wanted a ring on my finger, yeah Bad smell of solitude Oh it lingered for months yeah after you And so many words I wish i said From keep on getting stuck in my head I fell into deep And I knew, it would make me weak Because I don’t recall ever asking for your permission I was in control all the time, wasn't I? No I don't recall ever asking for your permission Stuck in a black hole, I'm using remote control No I don't recall Oh no I don't recall, ever asking for your permission Your permission No I don't recall ever asking for your permission I was in control all the time, wasn't I? No, I don't recall ever asking for your permission Stuck in a black hole, I'm using remote control No I don't recall ever asking for your permission Stuck in a black hole, I'm using remote control No I don't recall No I don't recall, ever asking for your No, I don't recall ever asking for your permission Your permission No, I don't recall ever asking for your permission Your permission

Bryony 03:55
Empty closet is scattered with old memories The teddy and i would sit under the trees Listen to the breeze And I remember when I got you, yeah you were the best Companion and something I loved with all my heart, I was blessed Where have you gone? Where have you gone? Bryony, stop hiding from me Bryony, stop hiding from me And you were only a teddy so people think i’m weird For singing about you but you were my only friend Only friend, only friend, only friend And everything was peachy keen, until I hit my teens And now I’m in my twenties and life’s hit me hard In my twenties and singing about teddies When will I grow up? Where have you gone? Where have you gone? Bryony, stop hiding from me Bryony, stop hiding from me Where have you gone? Where have you gone? Stop hiding from me [x7] Stop hiding from

That night I didn’t sleep That night I felt complete for the first time x 2 That night I sang far too deep That night I took the leap into the unknown and I wasn’t alone You took my hand and you promised me that I would sleep again It felt like I was born for the first time, all over again Heaven sent you didn’t they oh they sent you far away just to make my day oh yes Eden, don’t you leave me again Heaven sent you didn’t they Heaven sent you didn’t they I will always remember that day That Saturday The lights were on my face and the crowd didn’t know which way to turn to but each other would do just to see that look on your face would have made me a happy girl cause you never, oh you never believed in my space They took my hand and they promised me that I would sleep again It felt like I was born for the first time, all over again Heaven sent you didn’t they oh they sent you far away just to make my day oh yes Eden, don’t you leave me again Heaven sent you didn’t they Heaven sent you didn’t they I will always remember that day That Saturday

Parrot 04:35
Are you ok? Does it hurt when you touch your skin? Are you in pain? Shall I kiss it better and tell you everything will be ok? Are you sure you’re fine? ‘Cause I’m not, I’m worried about you all the time And everything is black and white, but not for the parrot I’m chatting nonsense in clarity but profanity A 24 carat parrot, it takes flight tonight Can you see its feathers flying out into the sky? Blue, pink and purple It’s colourful to me Oh I just needed a mascot Yeah someone to keep me company Nothing better than a parrot or a peacock A colourful majestic creature That’s nothing like, nothing like me But the story behind my hair is I try to be a raging hippie Oh, peace and love and happiness And to not have a single care in the world And that’s not something that I’d share with you girl And everything is black and white, but not for the parrot I’m chatting nonsense in clarity but profanity A 24 carat parrot, it takes flight tonight Can you see its feathers flying out into the sky? Blue, pink and purple It’s so, it’s so colourful, it’s so colourful to me Fly [x10]

Cut Me Off 05:09
A push of a button, and you’re gone Everything I’ve worked on, all along It’s hard to explain when you’re not there I figured some time away could repair The stems of it all, but i’m not sure anymore Wish I could ctrl, alt, delete in real life Wish i could just sleep I tried To save you Like I always do I think I might have to dust over my jeans You know what it means? It’s time to cut you off Like you cut me off Oh if i could just press the backspace And head to another place Maybe I wouldn’t have to start again The pressure is on to get you back So much to work on, never cutting me some slack Wish I could ctrl, alt, delete in real life Wish I could just sleep I tried To save you Like I always do I think I might have to dust over my jeans You know what it means? It’s time to cut you off Like you cut me off Wish I could ctrl, alt, delete in real life Wish I could just sleep I tried To save you Like I always do I think I might have to dust over my jeans You know what it means? It’s time to cut you off Like you cut me off

The Only One 03:30
Taking it off my mind I am so cold Blaming it all on you What was your thoughts on that, on that? I am so happy that you’re satisfied But what was the point in telling all of your lies You’re hurting me Oh baby please Show me you love me, nobody else I am the only one Shouldn’t be seated upon a shelf I am the only one I just want you to be honest with me Now it’s just one sided How will this work without honesty? Please be my best policy Show me you love me, nobody else I am the only one Shouldn’t be seated upon a shelf I am the only one One, one, one I am the only one I am the only one I am the only one

Better Off 03:27
If I stick it to the man, and forget who I am Does that make me worthy? If I leave it to my thoughts, but remember all the loss Will that save the cruelty of the lies That you spread on my life? I remember all the times, all the good has passed by but there was bad, surely? I leave it in the past, bring it up when i’m asked and I call that maturity I tried and I cried my way through it all Brick walls they surround me I think I’m better off, I think I’m better off I think I’m better off, alone If you see me doing nothing I hope you know that i’m becoming Better off, better off If I tell you how it is, would you really keep me as a Miss? Would I be guilty? I loved you all the same, but for you it was a game One that I could never, ever win I tried and I lied when I said you were the one The pain, it does goes away I’m not lost I think I’m better off, I think I’m better off I think I’m better off, alone If you see me doing nothing I hope you know that i’m becoming Better off, better off I think i’m better off, I think I’m better off I think I’m better off, alone [Repeat x 2]

Spelling Bee 03:24
Leave me be, don’t let me know it Leave me be, don’t let me know it If you feel like telling me Keep your mouth shut If you feel like doing a spelling bee Well good luck It’s not possible And you couldn’t make it up When you’re behind your wall of pronunciation It’s really comical And you wouldn’t say it to my face If you got nothing nice don’t say Then don’t say it in the first place I’m done with apologies, done with apologies At the spelling bee, the spelling bee What’s it like, being in your shoes? How’s the wife? Is she still the boss of you? If you feel like being negative Then you shouldn’t be online Would you be like this to a relative? Just be a nice guy It’s not possible And you couldn’t make it up When you’re behind your wall of pronunciation It’s really comical And you wouldn’t say it to my face If you got nothing nice don’t say Then don’t say it in the first place I’m done with apologies, done with apologies At the spelling bee, the spelling bee It’s not possible Yeah, you couldn’t make it up When you’re behind your wall of pronunciation It’s really comical And you wouldn’t say it to my face If you got nothing nice don’t say Then don’t say it in the first place I’m done with apologies, done with apologies At the spelling bee, the spelling bee The spelling bee, the spelling bee The spelling bee

I hope you can read my mind And read between the lines I’ve longed for you, you, you I’ve longed for you, you Breathing out of control Yeah I’m breathing from my lungs I feel like I’m getting somewhere Even when I’m feeling so young ‘Cause of you, you, you ‘Cause of you, you Oh it must be love or something close And I’ve never understood And I probably never will Oh it must be love or something close I’ve never understood Never understood [x2] Love Oh it must be love or something close ‘Cause i’ve never understood I probably never will Oh it must be love Love ‘Cause I’m breathing out of control Yeah, breathing from my lungs I feel like I’m getting somewhere Even when I’m feeling so young ‘Cause of you ‘Cause of you, and you, and you, and you Oh it must be love or something close And i’ve never understood And i probably never will Oh it must be love or something close I’ve never understood Never understood [x2] [Repeat x2] Oh I’ve never understood Love

10 More 04:11
It’s my time to leave, But I don’t wanna go You've had a blast I hope, But its now my time to go So, au revoir, see ya later and goodbye I’ve enjoyed my time but know, this isn’t a forever goodbye I’ll see you soon, on the other side When we can hug and laugh and cry I hope it won’t just be in my mind It’ll be in reality And when the crowd all sing for 10 more I’ll be sure to pick up the pieces Even when months go by I love my life [x4] So I’m walking out the door And I keep turning around to see you I miss you already, when can I return? I’ll never learn how to retrain Even when life becomes the same again I will always love my life I’ll see you soon, on the other side When we can hug and laugh and cry I hope it won’t just be in my mind It’ll be in reality And when the crowd all sing for 10 more I’ll be sure to pick up the pieces Even when months go by I love my life [x4] And how am I supposed to leave you? And how am I supposed to go away? I’ll see you soon, on the other side When we can hug and laugh and cry I hope it won’t just be in my mind It’ll be in reality And when the crowd all sing for 10 more I’ll be sure to pick up the pieces Even when months go by I love my life [x4] I'll see you soon on the other side [x2] And when the crowd all sing for 10 more

about

Delivering a colourful cocktail of musical influences, Worcestershire’s Chloe Mogg creates a spacious journey that will take you through all the emotions of music. A driving force in the West Midlands music scene wherever that’s in journalism or creating music, Chloe’s a singer-songwriter who aims to bring life and her vibrant colour to every project. Chloe’s debut album “The Crazy One” is a coming of age record all about growing pains and remembering your worth.

“I’ve worked on this album for the past 6 years and I can’t believe it’s finally here. It features numerous different themes but has one continual one… identity. It’s about remembering who you are, where you come from and what you want at all times. To me, this album is a reminder to anyone that you are the main character in your story - do what’s best for you,” shares Chloe.

The songwriter has received high praise for the two previous singles “Heaven Sent You” and “Better Off”, which received love from EARMILK, Planet Rock, New Noise Magazine and Heaven Sent You even reached Number #1 on Banks Radio… in Australia!

Turning relationship breakups, childhood stories and identity crises into something positive, the past decade of Chloe’s life has accumulated into her debut album “The Crazy One”. Armed with mental health themes, discrimination towards disabilities and heartbreak, the album has one theme throughout and that’s growth. Engineered and mastered with the help of Alex Vine Ruiz (Swan Studios), the release features Ali Clinton (Conflict Choir, Bernie Marsden from Whitesnake, Uli Jon Roth), Jack Bowles (Thomas Atlas), George Cook (Thomas Atlas), Chloe’s Dad Ian Mogg & Mirron Webb (RAIN).

With her debut folktronica EP ‘Thalamus’ getting radio play on BBC Radio 6 & BBC Introducing, the songwriter released three singles in 2020 - electronic number “Judgement Day”, trip-hop single “Helping Hand”, and ethereal track “Attack” which received support worldwide. The debut album sees all of Chloe’s influences in one place and has become her most diverse work to date.

A big advocate in raising awareness for ‘invisible’ illnesses, Chloe was featured on BBC Radio 1’s Minute of Me & as a featured artist for BBC News online talking about discrimination to musician’s with disabilities. During the first lockdown in 2020, Chloe co-created The 7 Arts Still Exist, a platform where artists and musicians could share their talent online. The event went viral and received praise from BBC Radio 1 and beyond. Recognising her work, Chloe received the ‘Local Hero’ at the AIM Music Awards in 2021.
